The Hangar opened in late 2014, fuelled by the founder/chef/coffee roaster Pav’s love for coffee and great brunch food.
After his early years in Singapore, Pav Khialani moved to Melbourne to study law – and he came back to the Lion City 15 years later as a self-taught coffee roaster, chef and entrepreneur.
The Hangar is not just food and coffee though: at heart, we’re about culture. Our mission is to spread what we call “the good culture” of service, passion, vibes and treating people like mates, not just numbered transactions.
We’re all about flavours and freshness around here. We love bold ingredients that are great for your body. You’ll find lots of avocado, veggies and high-quality meats on our menu, so whether you’re on a plant-based diet or avoiding carbs, The Hangar’s got you covered.
